Canadian Government websites provide terminology in both official languages (English and French) thus providing a quick and accurate reference for translators.

- Canadian Government Abbreviations, Acronyms, and Initialisms: Selected list compiled by the Laurier Library. Entries have been found in government publications, in paper and on the Internet, in general directories, periodicals and newspapers. Letter-by-letter alphabetical arrangement is used, without punctuation and spacing between letters.
